JUNIOR MARCH PAST 2017
Saturday May 6th
Thank you for registering for the Junior March Past…it is always a great night
and the children (and the adults too!) enjoy marching around Allianz Stadium.
In order for the evening to run smoothly I would appreciate it if the following
arrangements can be adhered to
MATCH: NSW Waratahs v Blues
DATE: Saturday 6 May 2017
LOCATION: Allianz Stadium, Driver Avenue, Moore Park, Sydney
ON THE DAY CONTACT: Kerry Brady, 0405 386 392 (OR) Mike Doyle, 0412 608 496
ARRIVAL TIME: From 4.45pm
BRIEFING: 5:15pm – for accompanying officials / adults in the Indoor Cricket Centre.
ARRANGEMENTS
 4.45pm – Please meet at the Arthur Morris Gate, Driver Ave., which is next to the Indoor
Cricket Centre.
 All Clubs will be marshalled in the Indoor Cricket Centre prior to being led around to the
entry chute onto the Oval.
 There will be signs showing where each Club must assemble.
 5.15pm – All clubs need to be in the marshalling area by this time. Clubs not present risk not
being able to participate in the march.
 Supporters should ensure they are in their seats by 5.45pm.
 The marchers and accompanying adults will be led around the field and then taken to their
seating Bay to meet the supporters.
TRAVEL AND TRANSPORT
With a large crowd expected, we strongly recommend the use of public transport on game day. All
members and fans attending matches at Allianz Stadium are entitled to free public transport. All
March Past participants will be provided with a voucher that they can use to access the free public
transport. Simply show your ticket, member card or voucher to the driver. Click HERE for full
information on Free Public Transport. The attached flyer swill enable participants to access free
transport to the Stadium. Supporters need to show their ticket.
Please note: event day transport will not start until 5pm, so services prior to this time will be
limited.
• Bus parking – Bus parking is extremely limited and must be pre-booked. If you advised NSW
Waratahs when completing registration that you will be bringing a bus then we will be in contact
closer to the event with further information on drop off / parking areas.
• Arriving via car – Parking in the Moore Park precinct on game days is limited but is available at:
o EP2 and EP3 – entry is from Driver Avenue.
o Entertainment Quarter – entry is from Lang Road

TICKETS
 Participants – tickets will not be issued to participants, instead they will receive a wrist band.
Wrist bands will be issued to the relevant accompanying official / adult at the briefing at
5.15pm, on the day of the event. The wrist band will allow participants access onto the field
for marching and then into the designated seating area following the march. All participants will
be directed to allocated seats once your club has finished their march.
 Supporters – Parents, guardians and other supporters of your club are all eligible to purchase
tickets at the special discounted price of $15 per person, to attend the match and support your

your club’s unique password to access discounted supporter tickets.
WHAT TO WEAR
 Ensure all clothing is appropriate to forecasted weather conditions.
 March Past club participants and accompanying officials are to be dressed neatly in either their
club uniform or club tracksuit.
 No studs, heels or football boots will be allowed on field. Please wear appropriate enclosed shoes
or runners.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOUR CLUB ARRIVES AFTER 5PM?
Go directly to the Indoor Cricket Centre in case it is still possible to take part, and contact Kerry
Brady on 0405 386 392 or Mike Doyle on 0412 608 496 ASAP for further instruction.
PARENTS AND SUPPORTERS
Parents and supporters not marching will be able to drop participants at the designated meeting
point, where they will meet their club and accompanying adults who will be marching.
Parents and supporters not marching may enter through the SCG Gate and access the food outlets
area and Tah Town in the Plaza section of the SCG.
ORDER OF EVENTS
4:45pm Participants arrive at meeting area – Gate near Indoor Cricket Centre
5:15pm Accompanying officials / adults briefing
5:30pm Movement from marshalling area to Allianz Stadium commences
5:45pm 2017 Junior March Past commences
6.30pm 2017 Junior March Past concludes – participants will be escorted to their seats
7:40pm NSW Waratahs v Blues Kick-Off
